The annual CMJ Music Marathon in NYC was the single event that spawned our inspiration to head out onto the road on our US-wide 'Musical Pilgrimage.'
The event was filled with an overwhelming amount of incredible talent. Unsigned and signed, this is a playlist compiled of our personal highlights.

Overall it was an incredible weekend of good music, wonderful new friends and great musical discovery. Whether it was a band/artist we actually saw, one that was on the line-up that we were 'too busy' to see, or someone that one of our new friend's recommended to us, everything was filled with soul and got to us in some way or other.

We've just created some seasonal playlists, if we had records to give you or even cassette tapes, this would be presented to you as a glorified A/B contrast. Unfortunately, we've had to rely on modern technology for now and send them to you through the medium of 8-track. Which isn't an entirely bad thing.
Side A - Nicola churns out 'One Waster Winter' from cold, wet Sydney:
Side B - Lauren brings you 'Summer Solstice' from the Californian coastline.
If you find yourself getting a bit down listening to Nicola's depressing mix, don't worry, Lauren's summer delights are sure to cheer you right up.
And hey, if you REALLY like them, I'm sure we could be convinced in to getting out the old tape recorder...
