Kisses: The Nile
Every once in a bright moon a tune comes along that operates on it's own terms. Independent of time, mood, or setting, it instills in you a fever and the only cure is to find some elbow room boogie down. This time around it's L.A.'s favorite lovebirds, Kisses, that have our temperature runnin' high with "The Nile."
Proving that disco is still very much alive, a pulsing kick-drum sets the scene as it's peppered with an infectious cowbell. A seductively plucked guitar fans the flame and makes way for a boisterous brass section. Jesse Kivel coos "The rhythms got me started and you just carry on..." before opening the floor for listeners to sing along.
Their latest album, Rest In Paradise, was just release via their hometown label Hit City U.S.A and features this little ditty along with nine others you don't want to go without. Get on that grooviness here.
