There is a general vote of confidence, all around the world, that French is the language of love. Usually it is associated with all that is romantic and beautiful, sweet and sophisticated, exotic and high-class. In this case it is associated with the act, nay, the ART of love-making.
Sydney trio Movement have just released this sensual and captivating video for their song "Ivory". I guess I should warn your it's rather explicit (NSFW), but once you get past the initial pillow talk, stark nudity and the feeling that you are watching an erotic short film, it becomes intriguingly beautiful. Similar to the intimate scene with Sienna Miller and Hayden Christensen in Factory Girl, or Sigur Rós' video for "Fjögur Píanó" featuring a very naked Shia LeBouf, although this time with two slender redheads (someone online commented that King Krule did a great job in this video).
The trio have been attracting a lot of attention since the release of their second single "Us" at the end of last year, having toured with Darkside, Solange and Flight Facilities. Their sound is a slinky mix of dance and R&B, slow-burning and brooding, while maintaining some sort of slo-mo groove. It's no wonder Ilangelo (The Weeknd) got his hands on this most recent track to add some of his magic touch in production and mixing.
