[TRAVEL GUIDE] Gold Lake's guide to Williamsburg
We were once foreigners in this town, as so many other people were, but NY quickly stole our hearts and gave us warmth in shape of amazing bars and restaurants! Here are five of our favourite places to hang out in Williamsburg:
If you love Mexican food, La Superior is a place you should definitely stop by to try their tacos. Amazing shrimp tacos. Plus usually good music here, so can’t beat that!
295 Berry Street, Brooklyn, NY, 11211
Dokebi Korean BBQ: Korean food is definitely taken care of excellently at this fine establishment. You have to try this!
199 Grand St, Brooklyn, NY 11211
Union Pool is the place we go to when we want to have some good tacos at the same time as we can dance to some rock’n’roll music and go to a show, all in one same spot!
484 Union Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211
Baby’s All Right has quickly become an amazing venue, both to play in, as well as to just go to hang out and watch other amazing bands. There’s some real great food there too, so you should definitely check it out!
146 Broadway, Brooklyn, NY 11211
Surf Bar is a place you have to go, even if only to experience the fact that there’s “beach” sand on the floor! They’ve got some nice pasta dishes and good lobster rolls, and it’ll make you feel like you’re at the beach somewhere warm, instead of heading head first into the Fall as we are!
